Ecco alcune delle star che hanno calcato ieri sera il tappeto rosso degli Oscar.

Splendida Anne Hathaway in rosso, che sceglie un abito d'archivio del 1981 della maison Valentino e rosso anche per Sandra Bullock, che sfoggia un abito di Vera Wang; entrambe optano per abiti bustier che fasciano la vita e lasciano scoperte le spalle. Reese Witherspoon ha optato invece per un Armani Privè per un abbinamento black and white, semplice, ma di gran classe. Scarlett Johansson punta sul pizzo di Dolce&Gabbana, la cui trama forma un motivo floreale, a mio parere troppo estivo per una serata di gala. L'abito di Cate Blanchett è invece Givenchy, molto austero, forse troppo, con spalline rigide, intarsi e plissè. Nicole Kidman sceglie un abito Dior bianco con un motivo a fiori argentato e uno spacco davanti, abbinando scarpe di color rosso-arancio che stonano con l'intera combinazione, sarebbero stati meglio dei sandali argentati. Gwyneth Paltrow indossa un Calvin Klein dorato dal taglio molto semplice con una scollatura sul decollete. Splendida come sempre Halle Berry in un abito bustier Marchesa molto luminoso con strascico di chiffon, che le fascia il corpo. Jennifer Hudson opta per il colore acceso con un abito arancio di Versace, mettendo in mostra il decollete con uno scollo all'americana. Per finire abbiamo una meravigliosa Natalie Portman incinta, vincitrice dell'Oscar come miglior attrice per l'interpretazione nel film "Il cigno nero", che indossa un abito Rodarte.

 

Here are some of the stars who trod the red carpet of the Oscars last night.

Lovely Anne Hathaway who chooses a  red dress of the Valentino fashion house archive of 1981, and red also for Sandra Bullock, who wears a dress by Vera Wang, they both opted for bustier dresses which wrap the waist and leave uncovered the shoulders. Reese Witherspoon has instead opted for a combination of black and white with an Armani Privè, simple, but classy. Scarlett Johansson privileges the lace of Dolce & Gabbana, whose weave forms a floral patterns, in my opinion too much summer for an evening gala. Cate Blanchett's dress is instead Givenchy, very austere, perhaps too much, with rigid straps, inlays and pleated. Nicole Kidman chose a white Dior dress with a silver floral design and a front slit, matching red-orange shoes which clash with the whole combination, a pair of silver sandals would be better.

Gwyneth Paltrow wears a gold Calvin Klein dress with a simple lenght and a collar on the neckline.

Halle Berry is wonderful as always in a very bright Marchesa bustier dress, which wraps the body with a train of chiffon. Jennifer Hudson opted for bright colors with an orange Versace dress, showing off the neckline with an American collar. Finally we have a wonderful pregnant Natalie Portman, Oscar's winner for Best Actress for her performance in the film "The Black Swan", who wears a Rodarte dress.

Milano Fashion Week: Mirco Giovannini

Mirco Giovannini è un designer scoperto da "Who's on next 2006" di Vogue e che in questi ultimi anni ha dimostrato di avere grandi capacità, ma soprattutto grande talento.

La collezione per la stagione autunno/inverno 2011-2012 si ispira alla figura fiabesca di Gretel, che richiama l'atmosfera del bosco in chiave decadente.

Un attento e accurato lavoro dei tessuti contraddistingue i capi proposti, che nascono dall'utilizzo di antichi telai del primo '900, attraverso l'intreccio di lana, cachemire e pelliccia per creare forme e texture innovative.

Colori chiari come il panna, l'ecru e il beige si alternano a diverse tonalità di grigio e di verde a riprendere i motivi della foresta selvatica, perfetti per la stagione invernale.

Pieghe, plissè ed intrecci sono la dimostrazione di un'attenta lavorazione dei materiali, che insieme a tagli e rifiniture rimandano ad un'elevata qualità sia sartoriale che del design.

Il tutto concorre a creare una collezione elegante e dal gusto retrò, fatta di capi morbidi al tatto e voluminosi alla vista, che nella loro innovatività incorporano un'antica femminilità.

The collection for autumn / winter 2011-2012 is inspired by the figure of Gretel's fairy tale, which recalls the atmosphere of the forest in decadent key.

A careful and accurate work of the tissues distinguishes the garments proposed, which arise from the use of antique looms of the first 1900 through the weaving of wool, cashmere and fur to create innovative shapes and textures.
Light colors such as cream, ecru and beige are alternate with different shades of gray and green to resume the theme of the wild forest, perfect for the winter season.

Ieri ho avuto la possibilità di partecipare alla presentazione della collezione di Giuseppe Zanotti Design, di incontrare il designer e parlare con lui; purtroppo non era possibile scattare fotografie, ma cercherò di compensare attraverso le mie parole e quelle di Giuseppe Zanotti.
Questa collezione nasce dall'idea di aprirsi e cercare di interpretare i gusti di tutte le donne, per permettere ad ognuna di trovare ciò che più le piace e le si adatta meglio. Non c'è quindi un tema che il designer vuole imporre, ma piuttosto la ricerca di pezzi diversi che si adattino a tutte le donne, di "30 scatti" che si susseguono come in un film. Ne consegue quindi una grande varietà, ma pur sempre coerente, che ci permette di ritrovare nella collezione colori fluo, come l'arancione, il viola e il giallo, ma anche il maculato e attente lavorazioni sul nero, con strass e pietre. I tacchi sono molto alti, c'è innovazione nelle forme, per trasmettere un'idea di forte sensualità.

L'ispirazione che porta Giuseppe Zanotti a creare nasce da tutto ciò che lo circonda, esperienze, viaggi, ma soprattutto dalla musica, che lo accompagna costantemente nella vita, musica africana, musica dei film indiani di bollywood, musica sempre e ovunque.

L'attenta ricerca al dettaglio che caratterizza il marchio la ritroviamo inoltre nei gioielli, anche questi variabili ed adatti a tutte le circostanze; Giuseppe Zanotti parte dall'idea dell'abbinamento con un jeans ed un paio di sneakers, per questo gli accessori, in particolare i bracciali, che fasciano l'avambraccio, sono perfetti sia per il giorno che per la sera.

Sono sicura che apprezzerete ed amerete questa collezione per la versatilità, l'attenzione al dettaglio, ma soprattutto la ricerca del gusto femminile, che come ben sappiamo è molto variabile e se un giorno vogliamo qualcosa è molto probabile che il giorno dopo vorremo qualcos'altro di totalmente diverso. Con questi pezzi riuscirete sicuramente a soddisfare i vostri gusti, cambiando, ma rimanendo sempre le stesse.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to participate at the presentation of the autumn/winter 2011-2012 collection of Giuseppe Zanotti Design, to meet the designer and talk with him, but unfortunately it was not allowed to take pictures, so I will try to compensate it through my words and those of Giuseppe Zanotti.
This collection comes from the idea to open up and try to interpret the tastes of all women, to enable each one to find what they like most and fit better. So there isn't a theme that the designer wants to impose, but rather the search of different pieces that fit all women, "30 shots" that are followed like a movie. It follows therefore a great variety, but still consistent, which allows us to find fluorescent colors in the collection, like orange, purple and yellow, but also animalier and a the careful work on black with crystals and stones. The heels are very high, there is innovation in form, to convey an idea of strong sensuality.
The inspiration which leads Giuseppe Zanotti to create comes from everything around him, experiences, trips, especially by the music that accompanies him constantly in life, African music, Indian Bollywood music, music anytime, anywhere.

The careful research to detail that characterizes the brand is also in jewelry, which are variable and suitable for all circumstances; the idea of Giuseppe Zanotti  is the combination of jeans with a pair of sneakers, and that's why the accessories, especially bracelets that wrap around the forearm, are perfect for day to evening.
I'm sure you will enjoy and love this collection for its versatility, attention to detail, especially the search for the feminine taste, which as we all know is very variable, and if one day we want something that is very likely the next day we want something else totally different. With these pieces certainly all of you will be able to meet your tastes changing, but always remaining the same.

Milano Fashion Week: Dondup

Lampadari al soffitto, luci soffuse al neon, abiti "in gabbia" e appesi agli stand, ecco la presentazione della collezione autunno/inverno di Dondup.

Dominano il bianco e il nero, il blu e il crema, mixati e non. Giacchetti di pelle, cappottini doppiopetto, maxi tees e pantaloni skinny, accompagnati da stivaletti borchiati e inserti ricamati.

Una collezione sicuramente giovane e moderna, capi basici vestibili e utilizzabili tutti i giorni, ma pur sempre glam e adatti a chi vuole vestire in linea con le tendenze.

Chandeliers from the ceiling, soft neon lights, clothes "in a cage" and hung from the stand, here is the presentation of the autumn/winter Dondup collection.
Dominate the white and black, blue and cream, mixed or not. Leather jacket, double breasted coats, maxi tees and skinny pants, accompanied by studded boots and embroidered inserts.
A collection certainly young and modern, basic items weareble and suitable to be used every day, but still glam and perfects for those who want to dress up in line with the trends.

Milano Fashion Week: Ermanno Scervino

Forme minimal per la collezione di Ermanno Scervino, che vengono arricchite da dettagli e rifiniture.

Tagli semplici e lineari per abiti, pantaloni e cappotti, a cui sono aggiunti inserti in ecopelliccia su maniche e colli per dare un tocco particolare e sofisticato. I pantaloni dal taglio dritto si fermano alla caviglia oppure scendono lunghi aprendosi leggermente a campana; molti anche gli shorts a vita alta. 

Abiti e tute coprono il decollete mentre si scoprono sulla schiena donando grande sensualità e la vita è messa in risalto da sottili cinture.

I colori sono caldi, tipicamente invernali, dal beige, al grigio nelle loro diverse tonalità, ovviamente il nero e un candido bianco, il tutto accompagnato da un caldo giallo.

Tacchi alti e maxiplateau per stivaletti e sandali, a cui non si rinuncia se abbinati a dei calzettoni pesanti.

Minimal shapes for the collection of Ermanno Scervino, which are enriched with details and finishes.
Simple cuts and linear for suits, trousers and coats, to which are added faux fur inserts on the sleeves and neck to give a special and sophisticated touch. The pants with straight cut stop at the ankle or fall slightly to the long opening bell, and there are also many high-waisted shorts.
Dresses and suits cover the neckline but they discover on the back giving great sensuality and the waist is highlighted by thin belts.
The colors are warm, wintry, from beige to gray in their different shades, of course black and a pure white, all accompanied by a warm yellow.
High heels and maxiplateau for boots and sandals, which we don't renounce when combined with the heavy socks.
